Official visit by the Secretary of the Nobel Peace Prize Committee

07/02/2012 // Professor Dr. Geir Lundestad, Director of the Norwegian Nobel Institute and Secretary of the Nobel Peace Prize Committee, visited Riyadh this week to hold a lecture at the King Faisal Foundation.

Professor Dr. Geir Lundestad, Director of the Norwegian Nobel Institute and Secretary of the Nobel Peace Prize Committee, visited Riyadh this week as part of a collaboration project between the King Faisal Foundation and the Royal Norwegian Embassy. During his stay, Dr. Lundestad visited the Shura Council (consultative assembly of Saudi-Arabia), the Western Studies Institute (WSI), the King Abdul Aziz Center for National Dialogue (KACND), and the King Faisal Foundation (KFF) where he held a lecture about the Nobel Peace Prize’ historical record and political accomplishments.
