ISFiT invites about 450 students from all over the world to attend the festival. The festival is a meeting place for dialogue and debate, and aims at fostering inspiration and being a starting point for international cooperation between students.
The ISFiT participants take part in workshops which highlight the festival theme in various ways, and in the evening there is a varied cultural program with concerts, art exhibitions and plenary sessions with renowned international speakers. Previous speakers include His Holiness Dalai Lama, Professor Wangari Maathai, Desmond Tutu and Professor Hans Rosling.
